Fill the Hummer for Our Heroes

May 23-25th + May 29th

In light of the month of May being National Military Appreciation Month, Waterford Village Bank collected items and letters which we sent overseas to US military units. Cappellino's Hummer of Buffalo donated an "H1" Hummer and Storage Mobility of Buffalo donated a Pod that we used to draw attention to our location and cause. Balloons, a banner, and flags decorated the site where we set up a table for people to stop by and drop off items and letters. We collected between 450-500 pounds of donations for an estimate of close to 1000 items. We also collected about 150 letters and $247.00 in cash that we spent on soldier requested items. Soldiers were each sent several boxes of letters and items which they will receive and distribute to their unit. Along with everything we sent to each unit we added pictures from the campaign and a collective letter from everyone at the bank. Waterford Village Bank is proud to support those fighting for our freedom.
